ROSE was inspired by a chance meeting with a seamstress named Rose during our fabric-sourcing trip in Bangkok. Once a tuk-tuk driver, Rose pursued her passion for tailoring and became a source of empowerment for women in her community. Her favourite traditional design inspired us to reimagine it with a modern twist, honouring her journey by naming the piece after her.

MANIS is more than just a design; it's a heartfelt tribute to the bond between Halim and his mother. The inspiration came during their fabric-sourcing journey, where the vibrant colour they selected became a symbol of joy and spirituality. With her wisdom, Halim's mother suggested adding a draped shawl, enhancing the design with a touch of warmth and comfort. This collaboration between mother and son immortalises a shared moment, transforming MANIS into a timeless expression of love and creativity.
